
A year to put a twinkle in your eye
Autumn is here again. The trees are dropping their leaves and night frosts are frequent visitors. And Sviiter will soon be kicking off its tenth year.
That’s right. On the 7th of November, Sviiter will mark the completion of its ninth year of operations, and similarly to past years, the past year has comprised a totally unique chapter in our journey.

Famous logos V – MasterCard
MasterCard is a technology company established in 1966 that is active on the market of global payments. They develop credit card solutions and possibilities, mediate payments between banks and between buyers and sellers of goods and services. They manage the world’s fastest money exchange network and are active in over 210 countries.

Famous logos IV – AT&T
AT&T is an American telephone and telegraph company founded in 1889, with a logo that reflects the company’s historical evolution.
The company, which started with American telephone and telegraph services, was personally founded by the legendary Alexander Graham Bell in 1889. Inspired by his name, the company’s logo featured an image of a bell, which was used in various forms until 1983.

Famous logos III – Starbucks
Starbucks was founded in 1971 in Seattle, United States, and it is known for its frequent brand renewal.
Starbucks got its name from the first mate in the novel Moby Dick. However, the founders initially had another name in mind – they wanted to call it Pequod, after Captain Ahab’s whaling ship. Can you imagine the best coffee shop in the world with a fishing boat on its logo?

Pantone Colour of the Year 2016 – Rose Quartz & Serenity
Pantone choosed Rose Gold and Sernity to be Colour of the year in 2016. First time in history the colour of the year is mixed from two colours.
This year colour is soft and warm, it represents our feelings and moods. Pantone 13-1520 Rose Quartz and Pantone 15-3919 Serenity is combination of warm and cold which represents gender inequality in the world and faith into better more consistent future.

Pantone Colour of the Year 2000 – 2014
Starting in 2000, Pantone’s Colour of the Year has become a hallmark of design, fashion and everything in between.
Over the years (2015, 2016 & 2017) we have been writing about Pantone‘s Colour of the Year. Here is the moment to look back, how it all began in year 2000 and how each memer of the colour family represents current trend in fashion, architecture and design in general.

Famous logos II – Audi

SEE Design Workshop in Lyon
The first SEE Design project thematic workshop took place in Lyon on 15th and 16th June 2009; hosted by the French SEE partner ARDI Rhone-Alps Design Centre.
This thematic workshop, entitled Integrating creativity and design into regional innovation policy, was the first of four taking place between 2008 and 2011 as part of the SEE project framework.
